DL-methionine and low levels of calcium, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium
DL-methionine is an essential amino acid, known as an acid regulator and urine acidifier. When animals have an unpleasant smell from their mouths, urinary urgency, uncontrolled urination and sediment formation in the urine, DL-methionine-containing feeds are often fed.
To balance nutritional imbalances in dogs and cats with struvite, crystals and stones, also with non-specific bladder problems or unusually high urine pH values, the targeted feeding of DL-methionine is an additional accompanying measure to be seen as a solution and is consistently carried out, often surprisingly successfully.
Feeding recommendation: per animal and day
dogs 2 - 5 tablets, cats 2 - 4 tablets
This information refers to normal weight animals. In individual cases, adjustments (see FAQ) must be made for additional supplements to the ration due to feeding requirements. Offer water for free consumption!
The packaging must be well sealed and stored in a cool, dry place out of reach of animals! Feed as soon as possible after opening; do not store leftovers.
